The Melfha (sometimes spelled melafa, meulfeu, or mlahef) is a traditional Saharan garment that is worn to protect yourself from the heat and sun. It is a long piece of light fabric that wraps around your whole head and body. It is worn across the western Sahara including Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania, Niger and Senegal.

they are hand made and dyed which gives  them their intricate and unique details. some styles are more for relaxing and wearing around the house and others can be worn for occasions.
